# Using PSD files with Responsive Ads

## Overview of Functionality

ResponsiveAds simplifies and speeds up the ad-creation workflow for companies using Adobe Photoshop by offering the option to upload PSD files to our Responsive Templates and Creatives.

Quickly convert your static one-size design in Photoshop to a responsive ad unit!

### **Layers to Elements**

Our PSD Upload functions transform your PSD layers to Fluid Ad Creator elements. We currently support Image and Text element generation from the respective Photoshop layers.

### **Replacing Elements with Layers**

Our “Replace” function will instantly transform a template to match your Photoshop design. You can replace any existing image or text element with the content in your PSD file, to generate a new, fully laid out ad in a minute.

### **Grouping and Masking**

When using the “Upload as a group” function, also Group elements will be generated from grouped layers. Set up your group with a square mask to create a boundary that hides any content outside of the edges.

### **Auto-position**

Upload the PSD file to a size that matches the aspect ratio of your PSD design. The generated elements will be positioned exactly as they are positioned in Photoshop. The elements will be converted to % based size and position, automatically setting up the foundation for your responsive design.

### **Upload All Assets At Once**

Skip manual upload of individual assets, and tedious copying of exact positions already defined once in Photoshop, by using PSD Upload as a Group functions. Or fill in a template with all the needed assets with the Replace from PSD functionality in just a few clicks.
