Video/Animated GIF (Export) section

The Video/Animated GIF (Export) section allows users to export their responsive ad creatives as video files or animated GIFs. This feature is currently in beta, and direct video exports require contacting Responsive Ads support to enable this functionality. Here’s an overview of how to use the section:

  1. Video Package Name: This column lists the name of any existing video or animated GIF export packages. If no packages have been created yet, this field will remain empty until a new package is generated.

  2. Formats and Sizes: Displays the formats and sizes that have been included in the export package. This ensures that users can see which dimensions are being exported as video or animated GIF files.

  3. Variant: Lists any specific variants of the creative that have been included in the export. Variants allow users to export different creative versions, such as those with dynamic content or alternative designs.

  4. Type: Indicates whether the export is a video or animated GIF. The file type will be specified here based on the user's selection during the export process.

  5. Actions: Placeholder for any actions related to the export package, such as downloading or managing the package after it has been generated.

  6. Timestamp: Displays the time and date when the export package was created or last modified, helping users track the latest versions of their video or animated GIF exports.

Video/Animated GIF Package Set-Up modal

The Export Package Set-Up modal allows users to configure their export settings for video or animated GIF files. This modal provides options for selecting formats, sizes, and customizing video settings. Below is a breakdown of how to use the modal:

  1. Name: Enter a name for the export package. This will help identify the specific package for future use. Example: "My Campaign Ad Creative Package."

  2. Format: Select the ad format from the drop-down menu. For example, "Fully-Fluid™" is the responsive format available here.

    • There’s also a checkbox to Confirm Fully-Fluid™ completed to enable Export in any size, which ensures that the creative is finalized before proceeding with the export.

  3. Creative Variant: If the creative has multiple variants, select the desired variant from this drop-down menu.

  4. Type: Select the export type from the drop-down menu. Options may include:

    • MP4 Video: For video exports.

    • Animated GIF: For creating GIF exports.

    • MOV Video: For video exports. MOV files can be exported as a Video with an Alpha Layer which allows for transparency.

  5. Video Settings - Duration (s): Enter the duration of the video or GIF in seconds. This field controls how long the final exported video or GIF will run. Example: "10.01" seconds. The maximum allowed length is 89 seconds.

  6. Create & Add .ZIP Files - Choose Formats and/or Sizes: Users can select the creative sizes they want to include in the export. Available sizes are listed (e.g., 1920x1080, 1200x1200), and users can search for specific sizes using the input field or select from the list and click Add to include them in the export package.

  7. Added to Package: Once sizes are added, they will appear in this section for review. This ensures that users can verify the sizes being exported before finalizing the package.

  8. Save/Close:

    • Save: After configuring the package, click Save to generate the video or animated GIF export.

    • Close: Click Close to exit the modal without saving any changes.
