Other Changes in Studio 4
While most workflows and pages outside of the Editor remain unchanged in Studio 4, there are a few important updates to be aware of—especially related to how creatives are rendered, tagged, and created.
Minimal UI Changes on Most Pages
Pages like Summary, Preview, and Analytics remain largely the same in Studio 4, with only minor adjustments to layout and styling. Your team should feel at home on these pages with no additional training needed.
New Rendering Technology
The biggest technical change in Studio 4 is the introduction of a new version of our ad rendering technology. This means:
Studio 3 creatives will continue to work in Studio 4.
However, if you edit a Studio 3 creative in Studio 4, it will be automatically migrated via a duplication process.
This duplicate uses new technology and must be re-tagged before going live again.

Starting a New Creative
Creating a new creative in Studio 4 is simpler and more streamlined:
In Studio 4:
You now choose between starting from a template or a blank canvas.
The "New Creative" flow requires:
Creative name
Format selection
Tag selection
Templates are accessed from the Templates tab or Dashboard Quick Access block.
If starting from a template, format selection is skipped (inherited from the template).
The Creatives Page
You’ll now see creatives from both Studio 3 and Studio 4 in one place, under the All tab.
For Studio 3 creatives:
Labeled with Studio 3 tags and shown with limited controls.
Actions available:
Copy to S4 – begins the migration process.
Preview – opens Studio 3 preview.
Manage in Studio 3 – opens Studio 3 summary page.
No publish or showcase controls (these are not compatible with Studio 4).
The three-dot menu for more actions is hidden.
For Studio 4 creatives:
Identified with a blue “S4” tag.
All standard actions (edit, preview, publish, showcase, etc.) are available.

The Templates Page
Templates from both Studio 3 and Studio 4 are visible here. Like the Creatives page, tabs let you filter by Studio version.
Studio 4 templates are tagged with a purple “S4” label.
We’ve migrated most templates for you, updating naming and design conventions.
Use the “Use” button to start a new creative.
Starting from a Studio 4 template is faster and more compatible.
Studio 3 templates will trigger migration and may need manual adjustments.
Tab Overview:
Layouts tab – Unbranded, reusable layouts with placeholder content.
Themed tab – Campaign- or client-specific templates with preloaded brand assets.
