Map Templates
Map Templates: Uploading Your CSV Feed
We offer 5 map templates, all of which use the same upload process. Once you've prepared your image and CSV file, the steps below apply no matter which map template you're using.
Replace the template names below once confirmed:
[Template 1 name]
[Template 2 name]
[Template 3 name]
[Template 4 name]
[Template 5 name]
Before you start
You'll need two things:
A store marker image β the icon that represents each location on the map.
A CSV file β containing your store data.
Image requirements
Recommended size: 75 x 75 pixels.
If you upload an image that's too large, the Studio will show an error next to the Image URL field.
If your image URL is invalid for any reason, an error will also appear here β check the URL is correct and publicly accessible.
Getting your image URL
Go to the Media tab.
Open the Images sub-tab and upload your store marker image (if you haven't already).
Hover over the image in the media assets list and select Copy URL.
You'll paste this URL into the Feed Pin Image URL field in the next step.
CSV file requirements
The feed config modal includes a downloadable example CSV file β this is the easiest way to get started, since your file just needs to use the same column headers.
The required column headers are:
name, address, city, state, zip, country, phone, website, lat, lng
Note: Confirm whether all 5 templates use this same set of columns, or if any template requires additional fields.
Step 1: Set up your feed
Go to the Media tab and open the Feeds sub-tab.
Open the feed config for the map template you want to set up (or create a new one).
Paste your copied image URL into the Feed Pin Image URL field.
If needed, download the example CSV file from the same modal to use as a template for your column headers.
Upload your CSV file.
Click Save.
Saving uploads all of your stores and starts generating the map image for each one in the background.
Step 2: Copy your Feed ID
Once you've saved, Studio will display a Feed ID (for example, 90). Copy this β you'll need it to reference or embed this specific map feed.
Step 3: Wait for image generation
Map images are generated in the background after you save:
Small feeds (e.g. a single store): images are usually ready almost immediately.
Large feeds (e.g. several thousand stores): generation can take 5β10 minutes, sometimes longer depending on volume.
If you open the page and the map doesn't show anything, this is most likely because the images haven't finished generating yet. Wait 5β10 minutes (longer for larger feeds) and refresh the page.
Optional settings
These settings are available across all 5 templates:
Zoom level
Default zoom level is 15.
Increase the number to zoom in further and focus on a smaller area.
Decrease the number to zoom out and show a wider area.
Map style/look
To change the visual style of the map, enter a Style ID in the Style ID field in the feed config. This setting is optional β leave it blank to use the default style.
Number of stores shown per creative
By default, a creative may show only one store. If you want to display multiple stores (e.g. 2β3) on a single creative, this can be configured in the same settings area.
Troubleshooting
Error shown near Image URL
Image is too large or the URL is invalid
Resize image to ~75x75px and confirm the URL loads correctly
Map is blank after saving
Store images are still generating
Wait 5β10 minutes (longer for large feeds), then refresh
Only one store appears
Default "stores per creative" setting
Update the store count setting to show 2β3 stores
This is a starting draft based on one template walkthrough. Before publishing, verify: (1) the process is identical across all 5 templates with no template-specific quirks, (2) exact CSV column requirements, and (3) whether any template has unique settings not covered here. If a template does differ, consider adding a short "Template-specific notes" section per template rather than duplicating the whole guide.
