What is a Creative?

A Creative is your design file, built to support multiple formats and layouts. It serves as the foundation for creating responsive ads, rich-media ads, or single-size ad creatives. The flexibility of a Creative allows it to adapt seamlessly to various ad slots and display requirements.

Formats, which are discussed later, define the shape and properties of your creative, ensuring it is optimized for trafficking in different ad placements.

Navigating to the Creatives Page

The Creatives page can be accessed by clicking the 'Creatives' tab in the App header.

The Sidebar

The sidebar is used for filtering your list of creatives by tags or properties. You can also choose whether or not you want to show any archived creatives in your list of creatives.

Filter by Tags

  • Advertiser - This filters Creatives by each brand you have created ads for.

  • Agency/Account - This filters by Agency responsible for the Ad.

  • Format - Filter by formats used for creatives.

  • Category - Filter by industry, eg. Beauty, Food & Beverages, Healthcare etc.

  • Features - Filter by features used in the ad eg. Video, Carousel, Podcast etc.

  • Segment - Filter by segment eg. Demographic, Location based, Time based etc.

  • Trafficking/Site/App - Filter by what site, app or placement the ad will run on.

Filter by Properties

  • Ownership - Filter by creatives which are owned by you or shared with you.

  • Origin - Filter by creatives you made from a PSD, creatives started from scratch, or creatives you made using a template.

  • Status - Filter by status:

    • Draft - creatives that are not published to the cloud server yet

    • Published - creatives that are finished and uploaded to the server

    • Re-Publish required - creatives that are published, but some changes have since been made in the Fluid Ad Creator

  • Classification - Filter by the billing classification of the creative:

    • Basic <250KB

    • Pro <1MB

    • Pro+ (or video units) <10MB

    • Advanced >10MB

Filter by Archive Status

When archived, a Creative is no longer displayed in the Creatives list. To access archived Creatives:

  • Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar

  • Click β€œShow archived creatives”

To return to your active Creatives:

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the sidebar again

  • Click β€œBack to regular list”

It is recommended to archive unused creatives rather than deleting them. Archiving allows you to clean up your Creative List while still retaining access to the creatives if needed in the future. Deleted creatives, on the other hand, are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Sub header

The 'Studio 3', 'Studio 4' and 'All' tabs in the sub header give you the ability to view only your Creatives designed using Creative Studio 3, only your Creatives designed using Creative Studio 4, or all of your Creatives regardless of which version of Creative Studio was used to design them.

STUDIO 3 is an earlier version of the ResponsiveAds Studio, originally launched in 2017. As of now, all new clients are using STUDIO 4, the latest version of the platform. Existing STUDIO 3 clients will be transitioned to STUDIO 4 in 2025.

For detailed information and assistance with the transition, please contact your account manager to discuss plans and next steps.

In addition, there is also a search bar which can be used to find a specific creative by name, as well as a sort dropdown which can be used to sort your list of creatives.
