Comments allow you to have as much (or as little) conversation as you like around specific ads β€” without switching out of context from Responsive Ads. The comments tool is accessed from the Proofing page.

How to leave comments

In order to leave comments on Ad designs in responsive ads, you must first access the proofing page. When on the proofing page, you can then use the comment tool to leave comments and highlight areas of a design.

Accessing the Proofing Page

Comments can be left on the proofing page for a creative. Proofing pages are public and can therefore be accessed by both users and non-users of Responsive Ads. This is useful when sharing your Ad Proofs with colleagues who don't have logins for Responsive Ads.

The Proofing Page link for a creative can be accessed and shared from the . The link for the preview page can be accessed by clicking the 'For Proofing' link in the 'Copy URL' drop down menu in the header of the preview page (shown below). Clicking this will copy the proofing url to your clipboard.

Using the comment tool

When you land on the proofing page, you will see the comment tool floating on top of the page:

The comment tool floats on top of the proofing page. This means you can drag it around on the page to wherever suits.

To leave a new comment, click the '+ Add Comment' button at the bottom of the tool. You will now be able to leave a new comment which includes text as well as the ability to draw and add boxes to the page to highlight specific parts of an of the designs. When you are happy with the comment, click the 'save new comments' button to save the comment. If you want to discard the comment then you can press the trash icon to delete it. Once a comment is saved, it will be visible for anyone who views the proofing page.

Exporting Comments

If a Creative has a number of comments on, then you can also export these comments for easy offline review. To export comments on a creative, click the 'Export PDF' button at the top right of the comment tool, and a PDF file of the comments will be saved to your device.
