The HTML5 (Export .Zip Packages) section allows you to export your Responsive Creatives as zip files, which are compatible with most demand-side platforms (DSPs) or can be used as standalone HTML5 ad creatives. This section provides options for configuring the export package, including selecting formats, sizes, K-weight, optimization, previewing and layout variants. Here's how to use this section:

  1. Export Package Name: This column lists the name of any existing HTML5 export packages. If no packages have been created, this field will remain empty until a new package is generated.

  2. Formats and Sizes: Displays the formats and sizes that have been included in the export package. This ensures that you can see which dimensions are being exported for use in their campaigns.

  3. Layout Variant: Lists the specific layout variant used in the export, if applicable. Layout variants allow different configurations of a creative based on how the ad adapts to various sizes and placements.

  4. Type: Indicates the type of export (HTML5 in this case). You can expect this section to consistently reflect the format for which the export is prepared.

  5. Actions:

Provides action buttons to HTML5 Exports:

    • Preview Export: This launches the ad sizes exported in a new window on your internet browser

    • Download Export: Downloads all the images in the export package at once.

    • Copy Export: Will copy the export.

    • Delete Export: This will delete the export

  6. Timestamp: Shows the time and date when the export package was created or last modified. This helps you keep track of the latest version and make sure you are using the most recent files in your campaigns.

  7. New Export Button: Clicking the New Export button opens the HTML5 Package Set-Up modal. This allows you to configure a new HTML5 export package, where you can select formats, sizes, and optional layout or data variants for the export.

HTML5 Export- Package Set-Up modal

The Export Package Set-Up modal allows users to configure and export HTML5 ad creatives as zip files. This provides options for customizing the export format, sizes, layout variants, and other configurations. Here's how to use the modal:

  1. Name: Enter a name for the export package. This name helps to organize and identify different export configurations. Example: "My Campaign Ad Creative Package."

  2. Format: Choose the ad format from the drop-down menu (e.g., "Fully-Fluid™").

    • There is an optional checkbox to Confirm Fully-Fluid™ completed to enable Export in any size, ensuring the creative has been completed for export in all selected sizes.

  3. Layout Variant: If the creative has layout variants, users can select a specific variant to export. This feature allows flexibility in exporting different versions of the creative based on varying layouts.

  4. Data Feed Variants: Users can choose to Include in export if the creative uses data feed variants. This option is particularly useful for dynamic creatives where data-driven elements may vary.

  5. Type: Select the export type. Users can choose from options like Google DV360 or other DSPs, and configure settings such as Max size for optimizing the export file size.

  6. Include fallback images in the zip package: If enabled, fallback images will be included in the export package. This ensures the ad is displayed correctly on platforms that may not support advanced formats like HTML5.

  7. Compress: Users can enable font compression by checking the Subset fonts option, which will compress fonts (e.g., .woff, .woff2, .ttf, .otf) to reduce file size. This feature is currently in Beta.

  8. Create & Add ZIP Files - Choose Formats and/or Sizes: Users can select the formats and sizes for the export:

    • Enter specific sizes in the search box (e.g., "2550, extra large, desktop") or choose from the predefined list of creative sizes (e.g., 1920x1080, 1200x1200).

    • Click the Add button to include these sizes in the export package.

  9. Added to Package: After selecting the sizes, they will appear in this section for review before proceeding with the export. This helps users verify the selected sizes are correct.

  10. Save/Close:

    • Click Save to finalize and create the export package. The system will generate the HTML5 zip files based on the selected configurations.

    • Click Close to exit the modal without saving changes.
